          A 41-year-old woman presented with subacute acral dysesthesia progressing over a few months. Her prior medical history was unremarkable. While nerve conduction studies and baseline spinal MR showed no abnormities (Fig. 1/2), cerebrospinal fluid displayed lymphocytic pleocytosis (86/µl) with protein elevation (650 mg/l). However, results for microbiological and viral examination such as autoimmune markers were not conclusive.
