The authors observe that only single, retrospective case reports are available regarding this patient cohort; their review identified 25 articles documenting 34 individual case reports. We note that the literature on CVST in traumatic brain injury (TBI) with skull fracture is similarly lacking in prospectively acquired data; a recent meta-analysis [
