Summary
A 45-year old female was admitted complaining of double vision. A CT scan revealed
a mass originating from the petrous part of the temporal bone with infiltration of
the cavernous sinus. The patient was operated and a subtotal excision of the tumor
was achieved. Pathological examination revealed benign osteoblastoma. During an 18
year follow up period, no progression of tumor has been detected.
